Receptionist/Office Services Assistant (Temp-to-Hire)


Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP, an internationally renowned intellectual property law firm, has an immediate position available for an experienced Receptionist/Office Services Assistant in our Seattle office.  The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity.

As a valued Office Services Assistant team member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service experience and the ability to follow through on all customer requests both internal and external.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Greeting visitors, providing phone support, answering a multi-line phone, and directing calls
  • Assisting Office Manager
  • Corresponding with clients
  • Setting up meetings and events
  • Maintaining conference rooms, mail room, supplies room and reception area
  • Processing, distributing and collecting mail, packages, and faxes
  • General administrative and clerical support
  • Maintaining, tracking, and organizing records
  • Other duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of receptionist experience in a professional environment, law firm preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must be organized, detailed-oriented and have the ability to multi task and change directives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining constant focus on excellent customer service delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will communicate with attorneys, all levels of administrative staff and contacts outside the Firm
  • Sense of urgency, strong organizational skills and effective time management
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to problem solve and take initiative
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Windows-based software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
